Meet Antonia Louise

I am a graduate from the University of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and a quadruple-qualified Skin, Aesthetic, Dental & Orthodontic Practitioner and have studied extensive skin and anatomy and physiology for 10 years. I am also currently training to become a licensed Nutridermatology Specialist. I have a wealth of experience from working in Skin & Aesthetics Clinics in Edinburgh and I am one of the few people in the United Kingdom to have completed the prestigious Masters’ Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma Qualification in Aesthetic Medicine through the Medical Aesthetics Training Academy, a highly sought-after qualification in the industry.

A little bit about me...

Apart from my love for skin health and skincare, I am a big family girl and devote a lot of my time to my loved ones. I had an Italian upbringing so you will regularly find me cooking a big bowl of pasta, because life is too short to be without carbs! I also love dogs, I am that person who has to stop in the street and meet any dog that passes by. I am based in Scotland and regularly explore the Scottish country with my other half. We also spend a lot of time in Spain, two of my favourite places are Palma and Barcelona! I just love the Spanish culture. In the future I hope to learn Spanish, do voluntary work in dog rescue shelters and of course continue to educate others on skin health and skincare.

My Approach

When it comes to skin health and skincare, I focus on an evidence based and holistic approach. I place a strong emphasis on educating my patients on what they actually need for their skin health, help them navigate the confusing world of skincare & debunk myths in the industry (which you will see over on my Instagram @antonialouiseskin). I also dive into skin nutrition, looking at gut health, hormones and other lifestyle factors that can play a large role in your skin health journey.

I am incredibly passionate about what I do and love to support my patients on their journey to skin health which I feel is what sets me apart from the rest. Skin health can play a huge impact on mental health so support from your practitioner is essential.

I am a strong believer skincare should be both accessible and backed by science so you will never find me trying to sell you expensive skincare that is unnecessary. I will always give you options tailored to your budget.

Focus: Ethical and results driven.

Aim: Healthy, glowing skin you are confident & happy with.
